This proposal is about experiencing the 3 dimensional geometry of the Kingspan Pavilion, the folded roof design plays with alternating angles, heights and volumes, each brings a unique experience and sequence. The structure provides glimpses into and out of the pavilion at varying levels to create mystery and intrigue to the observer. This is further enhanced by the visually changing dynamics of light and colour provided by the internal LED screens with graphics and the external lighting the system. Internally there is no direct prescribed pedestrian route through the pavilion but a gentle meandering taking the person through the differing volumes of each section. Barcelona Pavilion chairs are provided to form a meeting place or a chance to reflect.
