We often get asked to look at residential extensions and refurbishments, here we took a modest bungalow and completely reimagined the interior to provide an open-plan spacious arrangement to the living, dining and kitchen areas. We have arranged the plan around an inner courtyard, giving a sense of calmness and wellbeing. To the rear of the house we have introduced a full-width glass sliding doors system, flooding the interior with natural light and bringing views of the garden to the interior. Added to this, the thing that really gives this modest property its WOW factor is the new white washed timber panelled vaulted roof design to the open plan areas and master bedroom, bringing a previously unimaginable loftiness and relaxed beach house vibe to the home.
