WAM have produced a compelling workplace design that brings together 3 parts of a digital media business previously located in different buildings. To unite the different businesses and promote a more agile and collaborative approach to the workplace we designed a floating desked called ‘the amoeba’ that drifts through the office connecting different areas of the business. It has also given the office a new strong and defined personality.
Attention paid to acoustics and lighting controls have greatly enhanced the office environment whilst the compact but flexible space-plan has increased productivity and provides support for smart working and future change.
